007 First Light Set for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027

The firm date ends months of delays, allowing IO Interactive extra development time to polish the port’s performance.

Overview

  • IO Interactive confirmed on Oct. 14, 2026 that 007 First Light will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027 and released a trailer with the date.
  • Pre-orders are now live for a Deluxe Edition priced at $69.99 and include an exclusive GoldenEye suit as an early-access pre-order bonus.
  • The studio said it pushed the Switch 2 release to continue optimisation and performance work after hands-on builds shown at Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show drew positive feedback.
  • IO Interactive will ship the Switch 2 port with all previously released free updates and DLC such as New Game+, Photo Mode, TacSim additions, and it confirmed further story DLC focused on character Bawma.
  • The move follows a strong commercial showing for 007 First Light on other platforms and comes as IOI balances this live-service support with other projects and recent studio restructuring.
