The Innu/Ilnu, formerly called Montagnais, are the Indigenous Canadians who inhabit northeastern Labrador in present-day Newfoundland and Labrador and some portions of Quebec. They refer to their traditional homeland as Nitassinan or Innu-assi. From Wikipedia
