Saregama India Ltd is an Indian record label.
It was established in 1901 as the Indian division of the British Gramophone Company. It is subsequently India's oldest music record label company. It later became a division of EMI after they acquired the Gramophone Company in 1931. It used the His Master's Voice trademark across its releases.
In 1985, EMI sold the company to RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. From Wikipedia
