Western Ukraine or West Ukraine refers to the western territories of Ukraine. There is no universally accepted definition of the territory's boundaries, but the contemporary Ukrainian administrative regions of Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil and Zakarpattia are typically included.
