Ponyrovsky District is an administrative and municipal district, one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 690 square kilometers. Its administrative center is the urban locality of Ponyri. Population: 10,893; 11,778; 13,553; 15,694.
