The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals or the MICT in Kinyarwanda, also known simply as the Mechanism, is an international court established by the United Nations Security Council in 2010 to perform the remaining functions of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda following the completion of those tribunals' respective mandates.
