Maverick Viñales Ruiz is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer who won the 2013 Moto3 World Championship. After five seasons as a MotoGP factory rider with the Yamaha Factory Racing team, his contract was terminated by mutual consent midway through the 2021 season.
