USS Dobbin is the name of a United States Navy destroyer tender of World War II, named after James Cochrane Dobbin, the Secretary of the Navy from 1853 to 1857. Dobbin was launched on 5 May 1921 by the Philadelphia Navy Yard. From Wikipedia
