Kretshnif is a dynasty in Hasidic Judaism that comes from the Nadvorna dynasty, named for Crăciunești in present-day Romania. The founding rebbe was Meir Rosenbaum, a son of Mordechai, rebbe of Nadvorna. From Wikipedia
