Oyten is a municipality in the district of Verden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km northwest of Verden, and 15 km east of Bremen. Oyten belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen, established in 1180. From Wikipedia
