Stéphane Fontaine is a French cinematographer.
He graduated from the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in 1985, and began his career as first assistant camera on films directed by Arnaud Desplechin, Jim Jarmusch, Leos Carax and Olivier Assayas.
