Itamar Ben-Gvir is an Israeli far-right politician and lawyer who served as the Minister of National Security from 2022 until 2025. He and his party left the government on 19 January 2025 in protest of the Israeli–Palestinian prisoner exchange. His resignation went into effect after 48 hours.
