The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay (UW-Green Bay, UWGB, or Green Bay) is a public university in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with regional campuses in Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan. Founded in 1965, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. As of Fall 2020, student enrollment was approximately 8970, including 8531 undergraduate students. Since its founding, the school had an environmental sustainability emphasis (nicknamed "Eco U" in 1971 by Newsweek), and offers associate, bachelor's, master's degree programs, as well as a doctoral program, First Nations Ed.D. The university's mascot is the Phoenix.
