Former Director General of the Directorate General for External Security of France
Bernard Bajolet is a French diplomat and civil servant. On 10 April 2013 he was appointed as head of the French secret service, the Directorate-General for External Security. He was the French Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2011 to 2013.
