Alan David Hansen MBE is a Scottish former footballer and BBC television football pundit. Regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time and one of the finest Scottish players ever, he enjoyed a highly decorated playing career, winning eight First Division titles, three European Cups, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and several other honours with Liverpool during their dominant era in the late 1970s and 1980s.
