Timur Nuruakhitovich Bekmambetov is a Kazakh-born Russian film director, producer, screenwriter, and tech entrepreneur. He is best known for the fantasy epic Night Watch and the action thriller Wanted, as well as for the pioneering screenlife films Unfriended, Searching and Profile.
