Simba is a fictional character in Disney's The Lion King franchise. First appearing as a lion cub in The Lion King, the character flees his homeland when his father, King Mufasa, is murdered by his treacherous uncle, Scar, who also guilts Simba into believing he is responsible for Mufasa's death.
