Dale Bryan Murphy is an American former professional baseball player. During an 18-year career in Major League Baseball from 1976 to 1993, he played as an outfielder, catcher, and first baseman for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies; Murphy is best noted for his many years with the Braves.
