Spicomellus is an extinct genus of early ankylosaurian dinosaur from the El Mers III Formation of Morocco. The genus contains a single species, S. afer, known from a single rib with fused osteoderms. Spicomellus represents the oldest named ankylosaur. From Wikipedia
