Apsana Begum is a British politician who has been Member of Parliament for Poplar and Limehouse since 2019. Elected as a member of the Labour Party, Begum had the party whip withdrawn for six months on 23 July 2024 after she voted for an amendment to scrap the two-child benefit cap.
