Richard Leslie Norden, VC was a soldier in the Australian Army during the Vietnam War who was awarded the Victoria Cross for Australia.
After his military service, Norden served in the Australian Capital Territory Police Force. He was killed in a motorcycle accident while on duty at the age of 24. From Wikipedia
