Robert Sand is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the 33rd Iowa Auditor of State since 2019. Sand is a member of the Democratic Party. Sand was the Assistant Attorney General of Iowa from 2010 to 2017. In 2018, he ran for state auditor, defeating Republican incumbent Mary Mosiman. From Wikipedia
