Mamoudou Athie is an American actor. He began his career in theater— starring Off-Broadway in 2015 in The Mystery of Love and Sex, he subsequently had supporting roles in films Patti Cake$, The Circle, Unicorn Store, The Front Runner, Underwater, Jurassic World Dominion, The Burial, and Kinds of Kindness, and in the television series The Get Down, The Detour, Sorry for Your Loss, and the FXX anthology Cake.
