Len Davis is a former New Orleans police officer. He was convicted in federal court of depriving civil rights through murder by conspiring with an assassin to kill a local resident who'd reported him for abuse of power after seeing him beat a 17-year-old boy whom he'd mistook as the suspect in the shooting a police officer.
